Day 70: Picking up Daddy

New game in our house—pick up daddy (or mommy).  They each take a body part and pick us up off the floor.  It’s so funny to see them work together and work so hard ‘picking us up’.  (Please ignore the quality of the photos…not in the mood tonight to worry about editing or getting my settings right.)

This sort of thing always makes me laugh too. Like they think they are strong enough to help you up off the floor. Too cute.

Do you feel obligated to take great photos every day? I would think that would take away a lot of the fun in doing a blog like this. I think the real purpose of your blog is to capture the lives of your children for a year, not to get perfect pictures all the time. I'm sure you already know this but maybe you just need a reminder... even the flawed pictures are fantastic because they show your children's personalities.

Sometimes I feel like I should be getting better photos than I do. Then I try to remember the purpose is to capture the moments and in that process I get to learn photography, not the other way around. Thank you for the reminder though, it helps.

I love not only the kids faces but Chris looks like he is having such a good time! Way cute!

I also really enjoy seeing Chris in the pictures. I love seeing the kids' relationships with each other grow, but I also love seeing what their relationships are like with Mommy and Daddy. More of that, please. =)
